Attendance Monitoring Project

The Attendance Monitoring Project, funded through Dormant Accounts, operated throughout 2006 and 2007, and focused on identifying potential early school leavers and identifying supports to help them remain in school. In 2007 a number of local schools, working in partnership, successfully accessed the DEIS programme. As a result, Balbriggan Community College, St. Joseph's Secondary School in Rush, and St. Teresa's Primary School now have access to the school completion programme and a range of other supports.
