Enterprise Training

Following the success of the one-to-one enterprise advice and guidance service, Co-operation Fingal, in conjunction with BEDG Ltd have established several enterprise training initiatives designed to support individuals into self-employment. Workshops and courses include:

 

Introduction to Business Workshops:

These workshops will give participants the opportunity to explore and evaluate their business ideas.

 

Introduction to Business in Ireland Workshops for new members of our communities:

These workshops were specifically developed and tailored to suit the needs of Immigrants interested in setting-up a business in Ireland . Previously integrated Introduction to Business workshops had identified the need for tailored programmes specifically for immigrants to address issues/problem areas for new members of our community. The main issues include sourcing of funding available, investment and in particular Legislation and Compliance in Ireland . The workshops have raised awareness of enterprise requirements in Ireland amongst participants.

 

Start your own Business Training Programme:

An intensive training course designed to facilitate individuals in developing a business. This is a diverse and wide ranging programme designed to assist participants and enhance business skills. Course content includes

  • Assistance with business plan development
  • Financial information: Tax Registration, Taxation PRSI and VAT returns.
  • Record and book-keeping
  • Business banking
  • Legislation compliance
  • Insurance
  • Advice on grants and low cost loans available
  • Market Research

Participants are required to complete relevant research during this programme.

 

Mentoring Service:

Professional Advisors will offer individuals advice, guidance and practical assistance to support their business needs.
