Co-operation Fingal's Employment and Enterprise service aims to support individuals who are unemployed and socially excluded with a view to enhancing their prospects of securing employment, including support to access education/training.

Employment, Further Education and Training

• Do you need to update your current skills in order to gain employment?
• Do you want to find out how employment, education, or training will affect your welfare payments?

Our Employment & Enterprise Co-ordinator is available to give advice, guidance and support to people currently out of work and seeking support to progress to the labour market or self-employment. This involves an Individual Action Plan based on current skills, career goals agreed and identification of training/ further education and/or employment opportunities being considered.

Employment service includes:

• One-to-one advice and guidance on further education/ training/ employment opportunities available through appointments in the BEaT centre.
• Supporting individuals to access financial support where required to undertake further education and training opportunities.
• Supporting the development of first step and vocational training initiatives.
• Liaising with employers to assist individuals to gain direct access to employment.
• Liaising with service providers to gain funded places on certified training courses.

A key aspect of this service is access to ongoing support as required by people to ensure that appropriate follow up supports are available to people to enhance progression prospects.
